Oh man… we’re finally ready to post our favorite images from 2011! We had too many favorites this year to do just the Top 5 like we did last year, so be prepared for some eye-candy over the next week or two! Let’s start here, with our favorite couples portraits, including engagements, after-sessions, family sessions, military sessions and even one from a senior session! 2011 took us all over the place and you’ll see images below from Nashville, Santa Fe, New Orleans, and Washington, D.C. in this post alone! Thanks everyone for a fantastic 2011, can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for us!

We’ve made a number of trips out to Colorado in the past year in preparation for our move to Denver in July. This most recent trip in December was definitely one of the best trips we’ve had. We had the pleasure of speaking to the Denver SmugMug Users Group (SMUG) about our sales process as well as shooting a gorgeous stylized session at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera, near Vail, CO! We plan to submit the session to a number of blogs and magazines, but I just wanted to show a few images from this winter-themed wedding shoot. Our most gigantic-est thanks to all of the people and vendors who helped us pull this off (pictured and listed at the bottom of this post)!

Oh my gosh….these are AMAZING!! Makes me want to do ours over in the winter!
P.J. and Annie married last November in Richmond, Virginia and we were excited to photograph their wedding! Both Annie and P.J. were music majors with me at James Madison University. If you haven’t seen their engagement session blog post, you should check it out.
Annie and P.J.’s wedding day was a little chilly but gorgeous nonetheless. I love how the purple color of the bridesmaid dresses looks with the beautiful fall colors. I can’t wait to show off more images from their wedding day, but these few will have to hold you over.
Annie and P.J., thanks for being great friends and such fun people to be around! We can’t wait to show you all the rest of your awesome wedding pictures!
