It’s Wednesday! Here’s Wilson, having an epic staredown with a deer on a walk we took recently.
Thanks to Jamie Sharp for reminding me I’ve been lazy with the Wednesdays with Wilson posts lately.
We had an awesome time this past July photographing Emily and Josh’s wedding in Nashville. You may remember them from their (also awesome) engagement session in Santa Fe. They had a gorgeous ceremony at Scarritt Bennett followed by an intimate backyard reception at Emily’s parents’ home.
Not only did we get to spend the day with a fun couple, but we also got to work with equally fun planners Modern Vintage. To top it off, Emily and Josh and Emily’s family worked long and hard on pretty much every single detail of the reception (including the cake, made by Emily’s grandmother).
And despite the downpour before and during the reception, everyone partied it up and had a great time!
Gorgeous! Enjoy their album design. =)

This picture of Josh and Emily from their first dance, I just can’t get it out of my head. You’d think they were the only people in the room (or the tent, in this case). And you’d be wrong, of course.
There will be more to come from Josh and Emily’s wedding, but I just had to share this one Right Now.

I’d say it’s about time for another blog post! I don’t know how it happened, but September snuck upon us and we’ve been nonstop. I was able to snag some pictures of Waylon and Amy’s wedding album before they pulled it from my clutches…. I mean before we lovingly gave it to them. (Here’s the blog post from Waylon and Amy’s engagement session.) This was our first album to get some imprinting on the cover, and I agree that it looks timeless and, well, just fantastic. We use an album company called Finao and absolutely love them.
Enjoy some images of Amy and Waylon’s album, followed by a slideshow of their entire album design. And I know you’ll agree that it’s pretty stinking awesome!
